Dave Hollis and Rachel Hollis have divorced in 2020 after nearly 16 years of marriage. Rachel Hollis, formerly married to the late Dave Hollis, has recently broken her silence following her former husband’s untimely passing in his Austin, Texas residence. 

He had been hospitalized due to heart-related issues before his unexpected demise, though the specific cause of his death has yet to be disclosed. On February 14, just a day after news of Dave’s passing spread, Rachel shared a concise statement on her Instagram account, providing an update on how she and their four children are navigating this difficult time.

Together, Rachel and Dave were parents to three sons – Sawyer Hollis, Ford Hollis, and Jackson Hollis – and in 2017, they expanded their family by adopting a daughter named Noah Hollis.

Dave Hollis Death

Rachel Hollis, who is the mother of four children she shared with Dave Hollis, took to Instagram to address his passing. Dave Hollis died on February 11, 2023, at the age of 47 at his home in Austin, Texas.

“We are so devastated,” she wrote Tuesday. “I have no words and my heart is too broken to find them. Please wrap the kids in prayer as we try and navigate through the unthinkable,” she wrote.

While the precise cause of his death remains undetermined, a family spokesperson informed The Los Angeles Times that Dave had recently been hospitalized due to heart-related concerns.
