Poco M2: Comes With MediaTek’s Helio G80SoC And 5000mAh Battery

At present, every smartphone manufacture is trying to create devices that are affordable as well as powerful. Poco used to be a performance line-up before and later they have released mid-range smartphones and they have received many positive reviews and ratings. Everyone is familiar with the Poco X3 NFC and the company is all ready to release another affordable smartphone and it is the new Poco M2.

Specifications of Poco M2

The device comes with a 6.53″ FullHD+ display and it has a tiny U-shaped notch. In- addition to this, the device comes with a Gorilla Glass 3protection. When it comes to the chipset, the device comes with the MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC with a decent GPU. Performance is on this device is average and the user can experience lag-free multitasking.

When it comes to the memory variants, the device comes with a 6GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB as the internal storage. In addition to this, there is an option for expandable storage. Talking about the most exciting part of the specifications, the device has a total of 5 camera units.

The rear camera unit of the device comes with 13MP+8MP+5MP+2MP camera units with 13MP camera units as the main shooter. The rest of the camera units are the 8MP Ultrawide snapper, 5MP Macro and a 2MP Depth Camera unit. Whereas the selfie camera of the device is an 8MP camera unit in the U-shaped notch of the display.

The device runs on the 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The company didn’t ditch the headphone jack and on top of that, it has a Water-repellent coating which is a very good thing to have. When it comes to the Biometric Authentication, the device comes with a Rear-mounted physical fingerprint sensor.

Availability and Price Tag

The device is available in three colour variants and the finish looks awesome. The comapany claims that the device has a Two-tone pattern which helps in proving the user a better grip and reduces smudges. They come in three colours and they are the Brick Red, Pitch Black, and Slate Blue. When it comes to the pricing, the device goes on sale in India on September 15 and it costs INR10,999 ($150) for the base variant whereas the higher variant costs INR12,4999 ($170).
