PlayStation: Sony Announces Days Of Play For 2020, Offers Deals On Games, Merchandise, PS Plus

PlayStation Days Of Play event is a real highlight for anyone who owns their consoles. You get some sweet deals on a number of games, as well as discounts on accessories, merchandise, and so on. We now have some details about what players can get their hands on this year.

Days Of Sale Dates Announced In Many Regions

The PlayStation Days Of Play in the U.S. starts on June 3, 2020, and will run for a couple of weeks, until June 17, 2020. However, if you’re in the U.K., Europe, Australia and New Zealand, you can look forward to piling up your carts much earlier. Days Of Play starts off in those regions on May 25, 2020, and will run until June 3, 2020.

Both sales have similar deals, with some key exceptions. The U.S. Days Of Play sale has deals on the Gold and Platinum Wireless Headsets. However, the other regions have deals on the PlayStation VR Starter and Mega Packs instead.

PlayStation Hits Will Get Even Bigger Discounts

There are some games that are getting discounts at both sales, too. Games like Nioh 2, Days Gone, Death Stranding, The Last Of Us Remastered are likely to get a lot of attention. However, other games from the PlayStation Hits collection is also going to get discounts.

This could include God Of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and many, many others. What’s also common across both sales is that users will get a chance to snag a PlayStation Plus membership on the cheap. For U.S. customers, there’s a 20% discount on a 3-month subscription, while there’s a 30% discount for a 12-month subscription.

PlayStation Now Subscription Also Gets A Discount

The other regions also have the same 30% discount for the 12-month PS Plus subscription. Both Days Of Play sales are also offering a 30% discount for the Now subscription. This is Sony’s game-streaming service, which offers players the chance to try out older games from the PS4, Ps3 and even the PS2.

All this on top of a number of discounts on the PlayStation Store. So, if you’re the user, now might be as good a time as any to pick up a new game. Grab ’em while you can.
