A movie that looks like it will be one of the biggest hits of the summer has a lot to do with Staten Island.
As was said before, the voice of Mirage will be done by the one and only Pete Davidson in the live-action movie “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” Have you heard of him? In the “Transformers” universe, Mirage is one of the 1984 Autobot Cars. It is a Porsche.
And in case you missed it, we saw the Staten Islander who was born and raised there in the lead role for the first time a few weeks ago.
We got a few sound bites from a 30-second trailer that came out during the Super Bowl. And from what we’ve heard, Davidson’s positive personality is definitely coming through in the role.
“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” will be in theatres on June 9, and Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Michelle Yeoh will be in it.
You Must Be Read:
This isn’t the first time Davidson has given his voice to a popular character. Last year, he voiced “Marmaduke,” the loveable but unruly Great Dane who was said to be the most untrainable dog in the world.
