Oppo, the Chinese smartphone company is planning to launch a new phone in the market very soon. The details about the phone had previously been leaked on Chinese social media sites. Oppo has now officially confirmed a few details about the phone including the price.
Features of the Oppo A92s
The Oppo A92s has been rumored to launch somewhere between April and May of 2020. The new phone will have an 8GB RAM and 6GB RAM. The back camera of the phone has been designed as a punch-hole cutout, designed to try and imitate the iPhone 11 Pro Max which is the newest addition to the Apple family. Although it does have a slight difference as it has an outline to make the back camera look different from their competitors. As expected, the back camera is made of a 48 MP lens, and an 8MP lens. Since it is a quad camera, the details about the other two lenses have not yet been revealed.
The front camera has a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 4000 mAh battery with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connection and comes with a C-Port USB. The newest feature of this phone is that it will support 5G, which puts it a step above its competitors.
Price of the Oppo A92s
Rumor has it, the A92s will be launched as the new F15s in the Indian market. The theory is supported by the fact that the A92 and F15 designs are almost exactly the same. Also, because it was said the last Oppo phone was only launched in the Chinese market.
The price for the Indian market has been launched, and it falls under the mid-range price category. Oppo has set the price at Rs. 21,990. The Chinese market is selling the same phone for Yuan 2,199 for the 6GB RAM and Yuan 2,499 for the 8GB RAM.
Official Launch of the Phone
The launch of Oppo A92s is all set for sale in China on April 29, but pre-orders have already been pouring in. India might have to wait a little longer for the launch. It was set for May but it seems like the official release might be in June 2020, but that is only based on speculation.
The phone only comes in two colors, black and white, according to the Chinese phone’s official site. It was rumored to have at least three different colors but it seems like it was false news.
Since the Chinese market has already launched the phone, it is only a matter of time until Indian markets will be able to see the phone.
