Who Is in the Cast of My Brilliant Friend Season 3?
More than half a century, the story’s length necessitates that the characters “mature up” in the show. Over time, cast members are replaced to appropriately depict the character’s age. Margherita Mazzucco portrays the adolescent Elena Greco.
Elena is also represented as a senior by Elisabetta De Palo and a little girl by Ingrid Del Genio. Alba Rohrwacher, who portrays an older, present-day Elena, serves as the show’s narrator and is the only cast member to appear in all 16 episodes thus far.
Ludovica Nasti portrays a young Raffaella “Lila” Cerullo for most of season 1, while Gaia Girace takes on the role of adolescent Lila in season 2.
Additionally, both actresses appear in the first two seasons, depending on the age indicated. Elena’s family is played by Luca Gallone as Vittorio Greco and Anna Rita Vitolo as Immacolata Greco. Antonio Buonanno and Valentina Acca play Lila’s parents.

Antonio Milo as Silvio Solara and Imma Villa as his wife Manuela round out the cast. Giovanni Amura has been cast in Lila’s husband, Stefano Carracci, with whom she has a tense relationship.
In season 3, the tale travels further back in time to the 1970s, when the two characters are in their late teens. On February 18, 2020, it was announced that Gaia Grace would appear in only three episodes of season 3, with an older actress taking her place.

What Is the Plot of My Brilliant Friend Season 3?
Season 2 concludes on a titillating and subtly uplifting note. Elena has completed her studies at the University of Pisa, engaged, and published her first novel.
Nonetheless, she is subjected to the offhand slights and pressures of a patriarchal society and is frustrated when no one in her neighborhood, including Lila, appears to recognize her accomplishment. Lila seeks refuge in a run-down area with her childhood friend Enzo after fleeing her husband Stefano (Giovanni Buselli).

Since the novel that will serve as the basis for season 3 was published in 2014, we already have a good sense of what to expect in the upcoming season. Elena is now married to Pietro, while Lila is head over heels in love with Enzo.
As both women’s fortunes improve gradually, Elena as a writer and Lila as a computer programmer, deficiencies inside their relationships become apparent. Character development highlights the third novel, and most likely, season 3.
We don’t want to reveal any major spoilers here but suffice it to say that if the third installment stays true to the novel, it will conclude with an explosive narrative surprise. Without a doubt, fans will be pining for season 4.
