We got a peek at images showing a Motorola phone with a pop-up Last month, selfie camera, and it appears that we have a name for the apparatus.
It has been quite a while since we have seen a true, bonafide flagship smartphone in Lenovo subsidiary Motorola, but it looks like you can be in the works. Via XDA Developers, We now have some real life images of what appears to be a Motorola smartphone using a pop up selfie camera along with a notch-less display.
The pictures have been edited to remove any information that could lead to identifying who supplied the photos to XDA, So they seem a little. But, it simple to see the selfie camera, the distinctive Motorola circle widget to the home screen, along with the notch-free, nearly-all-screen display.
Like we said, the pics are a bit strange, but you can get the gist of what is going on by looking at them.
Interestingly, reliable smartphone leaker Evan Blass Tweeted out some pictures of a notch-less Motorola smartphone a couple weeks ago. Those pictures do not demonstrate a pop-up selfie camera, but it is very possible without showing the camera that is selfie, that these devices are one-and-the-same, just.
If true, Motorola could be planning to start a flagship phone shortly — Or, at the very least, a brand new phone with a few flagship features. Considering that we have not seen a flagship in the company since the Motorola Moto Z3 (which featured a year-old flagship chip when it landed), it is time for Moto to get back in the game.
