Melinda Wilson’s Early Life
Melinda Kae Ledbetter was born on October 3, 1946, in Pueblo, Colorado. Leonard Ledbetter, an Air Force pilot, and Rosemary Ledbetter were her parents. California’s Whittier was Melinda’s upbringing. Her ancestry was a mixture of Irish and German.
Melinda worked as a commercial model for designers such as Bob Mackie and Anne Klein before she met Brian Wilson. She afterward worked as a sales representative at a Los Angeles Cadillac store.
