From 1991 to 1996, MacCallum worked as a business news correspondent for Wall Street Television, where she gained her first exposure in broadcasting. She contributed to the programs “World Market Outlook,” “The Wall Street Journal Report,” and “Business USA” when she was there. She decided to switch stations in 1996 and started working at WBIS-TV. Although the network’s goal was to concentrate on sports and business, it eventually failed miserably and swiftly dissolved.
