Marcus King and musician Briley Hussey started dating. The couple wed in an opulent ceremony at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on February 19, 2023. Leah Blevins was present as well; she sang her song “Little Bird” at the wedding.

In June 2012, King set up his own YouTube channel with the same name, and he started posting videos there. His channel debuted on June 22, 2012, with a live performance of his band’s gig at Chicora Alley in downtown Greenville.
But King took a three-year hiatus from YouTube before making a comeback in November 2015 with his second video, “I Won’t Be Here,” which featured a line from the song. He also uploaded a live performance of “Dyin” to his channel the following year.
