London: London Police claims that one charged, two sought in Marconi Blvd. attack, robbery

A violent robbery took place in a parking lot on Marconi Boulevard. The man who was robbed had to be taken to the hospital after the incident.

The London police have charged one of those 3 suspects and are seeking for two more. They assaulted and robbed a man and a woman in the city’s East side.

According to the police reports, a man and a woman had gone into an established in the 600-block of York street. There they got into a burgundy Dodge caravan with three men.

The London police further claims that the man and a woman had left an establishment on York Street near Adelaide Street. They were with three other men in a burgundy Dodge Caravan around 1 am.

The van had then entered a parking lot on Marconi Boulevard about 3 a.m. Then suddenly the male victim was assaulted by three men and both the victims were robbed of their possessions.

The male victim was found unconscious by the police in the parking lot. Due to serious injuries he had to be taken to the hospital.

Police arrested one of the suspects, on Wednesday. A 27-year-old London man is charged with two counts of robbery.

Among the two suspects, is a white man, aged 20 to 25, while the other is a Black man, aged 20 to 30. The police has seeked help regarding this that if anyone with information should call police at 519-661-5670.
