It scares the audience with what looks like a white-clad ghost woman who is attacked by Lockwood when she comes to attack Lucy. After the spirit pushes her, she gets stuck on the strain. After Lockwood keeps up with the spirit with his sword, he hits it with a fireball.
He turns the light spirit against him and tries to persuade it, and every time it tries to pour itself on him, he is seen to dodge and save his life. In the background, Lucy’s voice can be heard calling out his name, “LOCKWOOD!”
Just as she was about to fall from the top of the stairs, he came to her rescue like a hero. He asks, “Did you feel it?” She tells him, “Of course not. I’d be dead. There, in big letters, is the name LOCKWOOD & CO.
