PEOPLE can confirm that the retired Olympic skier is dating the founder of a spirits company, Diego Osorio. “It’s new and they’re enjoying getting to know each other,” a source says of the couple, who met through mutual friends.
Vonn and Osorio, who is Spanish, were photographed arm in arm in New York City on Wednesday, according to Page Six. They were all smiles as they strolled around SoHo in casual attire, with Vonn, 36, carrying what appeared to be a coffee.
Osorio is the co-founder and chief creative officer of Lobos 1707, a premium tequila line founded by LeBron James and former Combs Enterprises president Dia Simms. Mezorio Spirits, which Osorio co-founded with Chelsea Clinton’s husband Marc Mezvinskiy, is the parent company of Lobos 1707. Osorio has also dabbled in acting.
The new pairing comes just under five months after Vonn announced the end of her engagement to hockey player fiancé PK Subban. Vonn previously married Thomas Vonn between 2007 and 2013. She dated Tiger Woods for nearly three years before splitting in 2015.
