Reddick’s death certificate said that his direct causes of death were ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. But his lawyer, James Hornstein, said this story was wrong because it wasn’t based on an autopsy and didn’t fit with how Reddick lived. Lance Reddick’s Early Life
Lance Solomon Reddick, the son of Dorothy Gee and Solomon Reddick, was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He went to Baltimore’s Friends School. As a teen, he took music classes at the Peabody Preparatory Institute and at the Walden School, where he learned about music theory and writing.
Reddick got a Bachelor of Music degree in classical music writing from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. In the 1980s, he went to Boston, in the state of Massachusetts.
