During the late 1990s, Katt performed stand-up comedy in San Francisco at several prestigious locations, such as the Hollywood Park Casino, The Icehouse, and The Improv. He established himself as a mainstay on BET standup shows like “Comic View” thanks to his standup.

He made a name for himself as a stand-up comic by riffing on topics such as Michael Jackson, middle-class evangelism, Martha Stewart’s imprisonment, and many ironies about racial issues in America. He has developed a large and devoted fan base over the years, mostly among young African-American men.

In addition, he portrayed minor roles in movies such as “First Sunday” (2008), “Internet Dating” (2008), “Lonely Street” (2008), “Ganked” (2005), “Norbit” (2007), “The Perfect Holiday” (2007), and so on. Since then, he has acted in films including “The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2” (2021), “Father Figures” (2017), “2 Minutes of Fame” (2020), “Scary Movie 5” (2013), and “For the Love of Money” (2021).
