Kamala Harris has been referred as his ‘Running Mat’ by Joe Biden.
Right before this, Harris announced a major bill for Women’s Health: the Uterine Fibroid Research and Education Act.
Harris explained, “Millions of women across the country are affected by uterine fibroids, which can present serious health complications.”
Harris expressed how she wanted to help women around the world, via this awareness program. This is an educational vocation regarding the Uterine Fibroid Research and Education Act.
The bill surrounds uterine fibroids to the forefront, that will aid research and provide valuable input.
It will help women get the critical information and care they need. In an interview, the Vice Presidential nominee explained that there are: “Millions of women across the country that are affected by uterine fibroids. This is becoming a major issue with women’s health.”
“Complications from uterine fibroids can lead to maternal mortality and morbidity, an ongoing crisis especially for Black women,” Kamala Harris continued.
The idea was first introduced by Congresswoman Yvette Clarke in the House of Representatives. The motive behind her idea was to improve women health. Being a woman leader it is so important to work for the women of the society. She wanted to prioritize women’s healthcare.
