Julie Powell, whose book Julie and Julia was made into a hit movie starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, died on October 26 at the age of 49.

The book Julie and Julia by author Julie Powell was made into a hit movie in 2009 starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. Powell died of a heart attack on October 26 at the age of 49. But Powell’s last tweet, which she sent the day before she died, is getting a lot of attention on social media as fans try to understand what happened.

“So, I woke up with something that is literally called Black Hairy Tongue. People, including my doctor, seem to think it’s not a big deal and will go away soon, but it’s gross,” Powell wrote on Twitter on October 25.

On the Mayo Clinic’s website, black hairy tongue is called a “buildup of dead skin cells” that happens on the tongue. It can look scary, but it usually doesn’t hurt and doesn’t cause any health problems.

People on Twitter started talking about Powell’s last tweet, and some said that her untimely death and the fact that she had black hairy tongue could have been caused by a covid-19 infection. Others, who were more likely to believe in conspiracies about the covid-19 vaccine, tried to blame the death on the vaccine.

A search of her tweets shows that Powell’s husband recently got covid-19 twice in just one month, and Powell herself tweeted about having the disease in mid-September.

“I decided to take a nap, but when I woke up, I felt sick as a dog. I guess this is how the covid hits. “Suddenly, like,” Powell wrote on Twitter on September 10. A few days later, she tweeted again about how hard it was to live with covid-19.

“My Covid is getting worse, which is strange. Powell tweeted on September 13 that he had a terrible headache, cough, likely fever, and was tired.

Powell had previously tweeted that she was vaccinated and boosted, and on September 19, the author tweeted that she no longer had covid-19.

Tim Pool and others on the right have used the early deaths of people in the news to say that the covid-19 vaccine is to blame. Powell’s death was no different. Even though the vaccine can cause side effects, they are thought to be very rare.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Julie Powell (@licjulie). I had recently gotten to know her and will miss her creativity and sense of humor. My thoughts are with her family.❤️https://t.co/GMu9esssF2

Some people think that covid-19 is almost certainly to blame for every early death in the news these days. Even though it’s possible that Powell’s death had something to do with covid-19, we don’t know for sure yet.

BNO News, one of the few places that still collects data for the whole country every day now that the CDC has stopped doing so, says that the U.S. has an average of 39,000 new cases every day. At the moment, 324 people die every week on average because of the disease.

Since the start of the pandemic, the U.S. has reported over 97 million cases of covid-19 and over 1 million deaths. This is likely a huge undercount, since cases found at home aren’t added to the official number.

People often look at the last tweets and other social media posts of famous people who died young. As just one example, Chris Cornell’s fans were shocked when the lead singer of the band Soundgarden killed himself at the age of 52 in 2017.

His last tweet showed no signs that he was having emotional problems. But it just shows that we can never be sure what’s going on in someone else’s head, even though social media gives us a glimpse into their lives like never before.
