Joe Biden Aims At US President Trump- Says He Won’t Use Military As A ‘Prop’
As per the latest update, on Saturday, Joe Biden aims at US President Trump. He stated that as a President he would never use the Military as a ‘Prop or private militia’. Moreover, he accused Trump of employing U.S. forces to settle “personal vendettas” and violate citizens’ rights.
Biden mentions that Trump recommended that “you should be deployed to quote, ‘dominate,’ your fellow citizens for exercising their right to peacefully protest.”
“We’re so much better than this,” Biden said. “You deserve so much better.”
Trump May Not Accept Election Results
The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, mentioned that the armed forces have nothing to do with the process of election or any disputed vote. Tension rises on both sides, as the president declared that the expected surge in mail-in ballots during the coronavirus pandemic will make the vote “inaccurate and fraudulent. In addition to this, Trump said that he might not accept the election results if he loses the election.
Biden states that the military would escort Trump from the White House if the incumbent lost but refused to leave. He didn’t repeat the assertion. But promised that he would restore the separation between the military powers and civilian. He called it “the bedrock principal of our republic.”
Biden, as a president promised that he will never put you the citizens in the middle of politics or personal vendettas.
“I’ll never use the military as a prop or as a private militia to violate rights of fellow citizens. That’s not law and order.” He added this as a reference to the Trump’s recent efforts to expand federal intervention into some cities as he makes “law and order.”
Trump deployed federal forces to Chicago and Albuquerque, New Mexico, after earlier sending Homeland Security agents to Portland, Oregon.
