Jessica Ralston Career
Ralston works as a news anchor for Good Day Columbus on ABC6 – WSYX, which airs weekdays from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. FOX28 also carries the show. She worked as the evening broadcast anchor and host of the “Openline” program at WTVF NewsChannel 5 in Music City, Nashville, before joining the station. The “Nashville Scene” magazine recognized her as a “Style Setter: One of the city’s 10 best-dressed.”
She started her journalism career as a producer at WFMJ-TV21 in Youngstown. She subsequently worked as a reporter, producer, and evening anchor at WDTV, Newschannel 5, following her move to Clarksburg, West Virginia.
After that, she moved to Charleston, West Virginia, and spent ten years working for WSAZ TV-3. She was able to advance from her position as a reporter and anchor at WSAZ TV-3 to that of an evening anchor. During her tenure at WV, she received recognition as a “Woman of Achievement” from the South Charleston Women’s Organization and a “Key To The City Of Charleston” from the mayor’s office.
