The reason for his exit from the band in 2016 was his well-known battle with alcoholism, which also resulted in his arrest in 2014 for intoxication in public.
Despite the difficulties, Kottak persisted in becoming a well-known member of the hard rock community and left a significant musical legacy. Although the cause of James Kottak’s death is yet unknown, his passing has left fans and the music community in sadness for a gifted drummer.
Kottak’s path was characterized by both personal and artistic triumphs, which makes his tale a testimonial to the difficulties that musicians in the business face. His resignation from Scorpions in 2016 created a hole in his career that was noteworthy and shed light on the effects of addiction on even the most successful singers.
