Jake Bequette Professional Career
Bequette got picked by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played a few games in 2012 and a few more in 2013. However, on August 30, 2014, the Patriots let him go as part of their final roster cuts.
Even though he didn’t play much during his time with the Patriots, he came back to join their practice squad shortly after the 2014 cuts. He even got a Super Bowl ring with the team in 2014.
In 2015, before the season started, the Patriots decided to switch Bequette from being a defensive end to a tight end.
