Jack Sherman passed away at 64. He was a legendary guitarist and was a part of Red Hot Chili Peppers musical band.
Jack Sherman Dies At 64
The legendary guitarist joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers band in 1983 where he replaced their original guitarist Hillel Slovak. And Sherman was also a part of the band’s debut album and their first world tour. This legend breathed his last on August 18 and the cause of death has not been revealed has of yet.

Sherman was a very talented guitarist and helped the RHCP band to rise to fame. Although he left the band upon the return of the original guitarist Hillel Slovak.
But Sherman kept on working with the band even when he was no included officially. He worked for the band’s album like Mother’s Milk, The Abbey Road EP and many more.
He was also worked with artists like Bob Dylan in his Knocked Out Loaded albums.
Controversy With The Band
The Red Hot Chili Pepper took to Instagram to announce his death. As the expressed their grief on losing Sherman. In their post they for his soul to have a smooth sailing to another world. And also thanked him for his contribution to the band. Although they cryptically mentioned that there were good and bad times during his collaboration with the band.

And by that they are probably talking about not including him back in the band when they were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
But till now nobody knows why Sherman was not included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when he deserved it. Because he had contributed to the success of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Along with him another guitarist Dave Navarro who had played for the band was not included.
Therefore this still remains a mystery!
