The guys collaborated to produce “Rippin’ and Rappin’,” a CD that they marketed at Highland Middle School.
Harlow recorded “Extra Credit,” his debut mixtape when he was in the seventh grade. Along with his mates, he founded the Moose Gang. Harlow played sold-out gigs at several Louisville locations during his high school career, including the Haymarket Whiskey Bar and Mercury Ballroom.

Jack Harlow Career
Harlow released his first commercial EP, “The Handsome Harlow,” in November 2015. He released a mixtape named “18” the following year, following his graduation from Atherton High School. It was the debut album under his label, Private Garden. Harlow released two singles in 2017: “Dark Knight,” which served as the opening track of his mixtape “Gazebo,” and “Routine.”
To supplement his income after moving to Atlanta in 2018, Harlow got work in the Georgia State University cafeteria. He met DJ Drama not long afterward, and he later signed to Generation Now, his musical label. Harlow proceeded to release “Loose,” his mixtape debut on a major label. He dropped the mixtape “Confetti” and the single “Thru the Night” in 2019.

Harlow has achieved considerable success in his partnerships with other musicians in addition to his solo endeavors. He appeared on Skeme’s single “Get Sumn” in 2018 with Sixteen and Lil James. A few years later, he appeared with Post Malone and DaBaby on Saweetie’s popular song “Tap In (Remix)” and with Quavo and Lil Wayne on City Girls’ “Pussy Talk (Remix).”
In July 2021, Harlow achieved his greatest success to date when he appeared in both the music video and the Lil Nas X track “Industry Baby.” With the song’s subsequent ascent to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Harlow achieved his first chart-topping success.
Jack Harlow Activism and Charity
Harlow is active in several humanitarian and activist projects. He was present at a Black Lives Matter demonstration in 2020 in response to Breonna Taylor’s death at the hands of the police in Louisville, Kentucky, his hometown. The next year, Harlow made donations to several Louisville-based organizations, such as the Grace M. James Academy of Excellence, Metro United Way, and the Center for Women and Families.
Additionally, he collaborated with Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC, to provide a quarter of a million dollars to the American Red Cross to aid the victims of a fatal tornado that struck Western Kentucky. In 2023, Harlow founded the Jack Harlow Foundation to reinvest in his hometown of Louisville.
