A new strain of swine flu has emerged from China recently. According to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr Anthony Fauci, if not taken care of the flu, has the potential to turn into another big pandemic.
The USA is still not in good condition and is devastated due to coronavirus pandemic. Therefore the entry of a new epidemic might destroy the whole the USA and the World.
The new strain that is being discovered is H1N1. When Fauci was asked, by the Labor and Pensions Committee by the Senate Health, he disclosed about this.
However, the entire document regarding the same has been published by the National Academy of Sciences.
According to the scientists, the coming new swine Flu strain has the potential to create a new pandemic.
Possibility Of Another Outbreak?
However, the virus has not yet shown any signs of infection in humans. This is due to the “reassortment capabilities”.
Moreover, a new virus which leads to a pandemic is capable of mutating itself or exchange its genes or a reassortment.
Fauci explained,“And they see a virus in swine … now that have characteristics of the 2009 H1N1, of the original 1918 influenza, which many of our flu viruses have remnants of that in it – as well as segments from other hosts like swine.”
The perfect time when everything gets mixed up, then there is a chance of the virus getting transmitted to humans.
