Dylan Dreyer is an American TV meteorologist and author. Dreyer is an NBC News weather anchor who appears on “Weekend Today” and, on weekends, on MSNBC. Frequently, she acts as a weather correspondent on “Today” during the weekdays, stepping in for both Al Roker and Carson Daly.
Her presence extends to “NBC Nightly News” and The Weather Channel. Additionally, Dylan has hosted “Journey with Dylan Dreyer” from 2016 to 2018 and “Earth Odyssey with Dylan Dreyer” from 2019 to the present. In 2021, she ventured into publishing with the children’s book “Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day.”

Dylan and Brian Fichera tied the knot on October 6, 2012, and together they have three boys: Calvin, who was born on December 17, 2016; Oliver, who arrived on January 2, 2020; and Russell, who came into the world on September 29, 2021.
Arriving six weeks early, Russell weighed in at five pounds and five ounces. He required a week’s stay in the neonatal intensive care unit following his birth.

Dylan has held positions at WHDH in Boston, WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania, and WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island. When she was traveling from New York to Hartford, Connecticut, in February 2013, she got into an automobile accident and sustained a moderate concussion while covering a blizzard for “Today.”
Dreyer began working for “Today” in 2013 after working for “Weekend Today” in 2012. Earth Odyssey with Dylan Dreyer is a live-action, half-hour television program that aims to “take viewers on an incredible journey to the wildest points of the globe, uncovering the connection between the environment, wildlife, and human beings of exotic locales.” She started hosting the educational nature series in 2019.
