Charles Monroe “Sparky” Schulz was an American cartoonist who made the comic strip Peanuts. He was born on November 26, 1922, and died on February 12, 2000. (which featured the characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy).
He is thought to be one of the most important cartoonists in history. Is Charles Schulz Still Alive?
Schulz died of a heart attack in his sleep at his home in Santa Rosa, California, on February 12, 2000. He was 77 years old. He was sick with cancer of the colon. The next day, the last original Peanuts strip came out. He thought that the strip would last longer than him because it was usually drawn weeks before it came out. Schulz was buried in Sebastopol, California at the Pleasant Hills Cemetery.
