Boruto is an animated series, currently airing on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block. It takes place after the events of Naruto and centers around Boruto, the son of Naruto Uzumaki.
The Boruto series is still going on, and it’s unclear yet what its conclusion will be. Thankfully, you have the choice to see the first episode as well as a movie if you want. What makes it worth watching for Naruto fans is that it fills in the five-year gap between Naruto and Boruto.
The concept of Boruto’s journey is unclear, but there are many fans who think it will follow the footsteps of his father. Additionally, a lot of anime Facebook groups are discussing whether this show is worth watching or not. I have the answer!
Is Boruto Good or Bad?
What defines a show’s quality is subjective because people view things differently. Naruto fans might not enjoy Boruto, but other viewers might like it. With the entire Naruto series has raised the bar so high, it is easy to grow frustrated with Boruto for lacking some of Naruto’s best qualities.
It is a show that has been compared to Naruto and Batman. Because Boruto is such an innovative and refreshing type of shonen, I’ve found it to be worth watching. While in Boruto’s version, there may be less exciting than in the Japanese manga, it does have its own appeal.
Is It Worth Watching?
If you don’t refer to Boruto as a sequel to Naruto, it’s a good show. The animation is surprisingly good for Tv anime and the story has been relatively promising so far. If you look at it with someone who watched Naruto, however, they might not like it. Is Boruto better than Naruto?
Although many things can happen in Boruto, it’s best not to get your hopes high, especially if you loved Naruto. We’ll have to wait and see what will happen next.
