Kenya Duke and Gary Owen were married in 2003. Austin, Kennedy, and Emilio are the three children they have together. Duke and Emilio Toliver Senior’s biological son is Emilio, their 31-year-old eldest child. Owen and Duke have two biological children, Austin, 20, and Kennedy, 21.
Following eighteen years of marriage, Duke filed for divorce in March 2021 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, California, citing irreconcilable differences.
People Magazine revealed in June of that same year that Duke had requested $44,000 a month in spousal support from Owen due to her leaving her “promising career as an account manager” for the comedian.
The podcaster and businesswoman, though, didn’t hesitate to reveal the details of her marriage on social media. Duke accused Gary Owen of hiding money from the family and having extramarital affairs while they were married in an Instagram post that has since been removed.
Kenya Duke allegedly paid the mortgage, and in a lengthy post that she shared, she tagged the comedian and demanded that he “stop lying about paying the mortgage,” according to Hot New Whip Whop.
