Fortnite has been going through one of its best moments in recent memory, as with the new season arriving, there is a ton of content for players to check out.
Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, has returned with a significant new update for Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival following a more than 40-day break. As we prepare for the upcoming season’s release, we’ll explore all we currently know about 28.10.
Fortnite Update 28.10 Release Date
Fortnite update 28.10 is set to be released on January 23, 2024, for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and Nintendo Switch. As a major update, a server outage starting at 9 a.m. GMT UK time will occur after the new download. Two hours is the approximate duration of the outage.

Battle Pass Super Styles & More
After obtaining all of the Bonus Rewards, players can now claim the super level styles for Battle Pass skins in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 thanks to the most recent patch, 28.10. To unlock the final style at level 200, players must pay 25 Battle Stars for each tier after reaching level 150.

For the five Battle Pass outfits, there are three styles available: Expressionist, Prismatic Terrazzo, and Glasswork. Underground Jones and Peter Griffin are the skins that have not yet gotten the super-level styles.
Along with the update comes a fresh set of Weekly Quests for Week 8, which opens the Quest Rewards section with the eagerly anticipated Petercopter glider and other goodies. To unlock the aforementioned cosmetics, players must own the Battle Pass and finish a specific amount of tasks.
Solid Snake Skin Unlock
Owners of Battle Passes may now obtain the Solid Snake skin by finishing many exclusive tasks, thanks to the most recent Fortnite update.

All of the cosmetic items in the Solid Snake set are now quest-unlockable, starting from the Solid Snake skin and progressing to the additional style on Page 2. There are a few well-known easter eggs from the Metal Gear Solid video games in the cosmetic prizes.

New Skins
The game files now contain ten additional skins that will soon be available in the Fortnite Item Shop. This features the Raiden skin that will be available to players in the future from the Metal Gear Solid collaboration.
In addition, Shredder will get a new TMNT collaboration skin in addition to the anticipated Pizza Party consumable. Gamers may anticipate seeing every TMNT cosmetic item back in stock at the store.
February Crew Pack Revealed
Another new addition to the game is the Lana Llane skin, which comes in six different styles that players can unlock when they purchase the February Crew Pack for Fortnite.

As always, if you have a Fortnite Crew subscription, you can get the skin in addition to 1,000 V-Bucks and this season’s Battle Pass (if you already have the pass, you will receive a refund of 950 V-Bucks).
Map Changes
Fortnite update 28.10 also brings a significant change to the Chapter 5 Season 1 map by melting the snow that Winterfest 2023 brought upon the island. Certain POIs that were once completely covered with snow will now see a change in the biome.
New Weapons And Items
After appearing in the Chapter 5 Season 1 teaser, players can now choose to use stealth as a method of entering Society Mansions on the map thanks to the arrival of two new items: the EMP Stealth Camo and Cardboard Box.
Supposing that concealing is a long-term tactic, the EMP Stealth Camo has infinite applications despite having a cooldown. While the EMP Stealth Camo is in effect, you cannot attack. However, you can end it sooner by deactivating it, unequipping it, or switching to another item in your inventory.

You will release an EMP impact when disabling the device, damaging opponent shields, and stopping surrounding vehicles. In addition, you can now blend in with the surroundings by hiding in a cardboard box. Try using a cardboard box to sneak forward instead of sitting motionless.
Weapon Unvaults
The Anvil Rocket Launcher has been unvaulted with the new update. Lock onto a vehicle target and fire a rocket in its direction.
Anvil Rocket Launchers are findable from the ground and Chests and are for sale from Mecha Team Shadow in exchange for Bars.
LEGO Fortnite Content Update
Despite several hotfixes and balancing adjustments, LEGO Fortnite hasn’t had any significant improvements since its first release in December 2023.
Players may now design and construct Launch Pads over their structures in LEGO Fortnite according to the most recent Fortnite update. Additionally, the game has undergone several tweaks and gameplay enhancements that you can see right here.
Aside from that, a few skins have now been given the LEGO skin design, and players can now see them in the Item Shop and locker before they can equip them in LEGO Fortnite. In the upcoming updates, players are still hoping to see the addition of traversal goods and rideable animals.
New Rocket Racing Content and Festival Changes
Drift Smoke, commonly referred to as trails, is now available in Rocket Racing thanks to the latest update. Players can get them through the Item Shop or by finishing Season Zero Tune-Up missions. The trail color you acquire in Rocket League will also be usable.

You may now play Rocket Racing and experience the addition of two new tracks as well as important gameplay adjustments. Along with several gameplay enhancements and Jam Tracks for an additional three Lobby Music items, Fortnite Festival has received a lot of fixes.
