Erika Slezak is an American actress. The most well-known character of Erika Slezak is that of Victoria “Viki” Lord from the ABC serial opera “One Life to Live” (1971–2013), for which she won six Daytime Emmys. Erika is Walter Slezak, the late actor’s daughter.
In addition, she starred in the 2019 movie “Guest Artist,” the TV shows “Special Unit 2” (2001), “The Resident” (2018), and “Blue Bloods” (2019; 2023), as well as the 1996 and 2021 TV movies “Full Circle” and “Next Stop, Christmas.” In 2002, Erika received her Silver Circle induction from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Erika married actor Brian Davies on August 4, 1978, and they welcomed son Michael in 1980 and daughter Amanda in 1981. In flashback scenes, Amanda portrayed Erika as the teenage version of her “One Life to Live” character. In 1968, Slezak married R. Daniel Mooney for the first time.

Slezak became Victoria “Viki” Lord on “One Life to Live,” a soap opera, in 1971. She remained in the role until the show’s 2012 ABC run ended, and she returned for the 2013 resurrection that debuted on The Online Network. Erika received six Daytime Emmys and a “Soap Opera Digest” Award for her work on “One Life to Live.” Slezak made her television debut in the film “Full Circle” in 1996. She later made guest appearances in “Special Unit 2” (2001) and “The Resident” (2018).
The 2019 movie “Guest Artist,” in which she co-starred with Jeff Daniels, won Best Feature Film at the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, Outstanding Feature Film at the Sacramento International Film Festival, and SENE Film, Music and Art Festival awards. Erika made appearances in the Hallmark Channel film “Next Stop, Christmas” in 2021 and as a guest star on “Blue Bloods” in 2019 and 2023.

Erika Slezak Awards and Nominations
For “One Life to Live,” Slezak had nine nominations for Daytime Emmys. She went on to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1986, 1992, 1995, 1996, and 2005, as well as Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series in 1984. She won the 2000 Favorite Couple award (shared with Mark Derwin) after the show garnered eight “Soap Opera Digest” Award nominations.

Erika also received nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress, Outstanding Heroine: Daytime, Outstanding Actress in a Leading Role: Daytime, and Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Serial. Her nomination for the Best Actress in a Daytime Serial Online Film & Television Association Award came in 2003.
