Emily in Paris’ second season premiered on Netflix on December 22nd, with ten brand-new episodes filled with amusing fashion, catchy songs, steamy romance, and, of course, plenty of drama. The highly anticipated second season of Emily in Paris features amusing fashion, catchy songs, steamy romance, and, of course, plenty of drama.
Emily (Lily Collins) is left feeling conflicted at the conclusion of season 2, both in her professional and romantic relationships. After a furious disagreement about how their company should be conducted, Emily’s ideal job is jeopardised at work by her employer Madeline (Kate Walsh), and her mentor Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu). Emily agrees to stay in Paris with Sylvie instead of returning to Chicago to further her career.
Sylvie eventually quits to create her own marketing agency, and Emily agrees to stay in Paris with her instead of returning to Chicago to advance her career. The episode concludes on a cliffhanger: Emily phones Sylvie to inform her that she has reached a decision… just as the credits begin to roll, of course!
To make matters even more confusing, Emily finds herself caught in a love triangle with her new lover, British financier Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), as well as her next-door neighbor, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). In the aftermath of Alfie’s revelation that he must return to London for business, he offers that they try a long-distance romance.
So, will Emily return to Chicago or will she choose to remain in Paris? Will she try long-distance dating with Alfie, or will she try to restart her relationship with Gabriel despite their shared connection with Cami? Here’s all we know so far regarding Emily’s destiny in Paris season 3 up to this point.
