Elizabeth Warren, the fourth child of homemaker Pauline and former US Army flight instructor Donald, was born in Oklahoma City on June 22, 1949. She was raised Methodist in a working-class family, first in Norman and then back in Oklahoma City, along with her three elder brothers.
