Early Life And Career
Dr. Anthony Stephen Fauci also known as Dr. Fauci is an American physician. He was born on December 24, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York City. He is married to a nurse and bioethicist named Christine Grady Since 1984, he has served for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) as the director.
Dr. Fauci is one of the leading members in the Coronavirus Task Force since January 2020, in the United States. He is said to be an expert in treating the most infectious diseases. He is also referred to as the most trusted physician during the early stage of the pandemic situation.
Dr. Fauci has also served as an advisor to the President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, and worked for NIH for over 50 years.
As The Leading Member Of The Coronavirus Task Force
As per the latest source, Dr. Anthony is not relieved with the current pandemic situation in his country. Fauci has already warned regarding such an increase in various cities like Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. While conditions were improving in some cities, Fauci said that, “having now, less deaths, less hospitalizations, less cases”.
Fauci also stated that unless and until the state and the federal government coordinate hand in hand cases in the United States will rise more. “That’s the thing that I’m concerned about because I believe we can, we have within our power to be able to get that down,” he said.
“I do want to say that at the end of a very short period of time we will be in good shape in this country,” he told reporters.
The World Health Organization says there is no “silver bullet” for the coronavirus yet and there “might never be.”
Fauci also mentioned previously that the Coronavirus cannot be removed permanently but yes the rate of Covid-19 cases can be controlled by taking preventive measures.
