He gave the reason as : “For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.”

Donald Trump improved relations between the Middle East Nations:

A White House official announced on Tuesday: that on the 15th September, President Donald Trump will hold a signing ceremony.

President Trump to make a seminal Middle East agreement that will normalize relations between Israel and the UAE.

According to the deal , announced at the White house on 13th August , the Gulf state agreed to have a normal and peaceful relation with Isreal.

Following this event, officials said it was 18 months of talks. Furthermore, Israel has agreed to continue the plan of suspending it’s annexation of the West Bank.

Nobel Peace Prize:

318 candidates competed in 2020 for Nobel Peace Prize.

An online procedure is held, where submissions are made and the nominees are discussed.
The most worthy and interesting ones are shortlisted.

Mr. Tybring Gjedde in his letter to the Nobel Committee praised Donald Trump for improving the relations between the Middle East Nations.

In his letter, he wrote: “As it is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity.”

Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Prize even before.

President Barack Obama won the Prize in 2009. This caused a huge outrage as he was just nine months into his first term.

Tybring Gjedde told the fox news that though he’s not a huge supporter of Trump yet many other people who won the Nobel Prize were not half as deserving.
