Donald Trump: Did Donald Trump call American war deads “losers” and “suckers” or is it just a “hoax”? Trump calls for firing the journalist.

Donald Trump, reportedly called for firing a Fox news journalist over an article published in The Atlantic magazine. Trump has been under a scandal for belittling American soldiers. He cancelled a visit to revere the war deads at the Aisne Marne Cemetery in Paris in 2008.

Donald Trump was highly condemned for calling the dead soldiers were “losers” and “suckers.” The magazine had detailed more than one of such incidents where Trump has been highly disrespectful to the American soldiers.

Jennifer Griffin, the Fox News national security correspondent confirms Trumps calling the soldiers “suckers” in a Twitter thread.

She was infuriated and questioned why would one become a soldier and not even be honored.

Donald Trump allies and members of the White House have allegedly denied these allegations. The Fox news has always given pro Trump opinions and have a Conservative affinity.

Griffin’s reporting has came as a shock to Trump and therefore he tweeted “Jennifer Griffen should be fired for this kind of reporting. Never even called us for comment. Fox news is gone.”

The White House’s impactious denial was perhaps triggered by the repercussions of the scandal on military supporting conservatives.

Trump dismissed the tweet saying, ” There is nobody feels more strongly about our soldiers, are wounded warriors, our soldiers that died in war than I do.”

While Trump slammed the claims as a “hoax”, Melania Trump, the first lady tweeted that the story “was not true.”

What did Donald Trump’s Chief Of Staff comment?

The Atlantic story reported that Trump accompanied John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff to Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial day in 2017.

Kelly was the Homeland security secretary at that time and had lost his son during a war in Afghanistan.

While standing at the his son’s grave Trump told Kelly “I don’t get it. What’s in it for them ?”

Though a number of close friends and associates encouraged Kelly to speak up, he refused to comment and remained notably silent.

Anthony C Zinni, Kelly’s close friend and a retired marine cop general reported The New York Times. He said that Kelly is trying to “avoid taking a position that might be percieved as political…I also think he takes to hard the commitment to confidentiality in matters related to their interaction with President.”

On the other hand Trump made speculations that Kelly could have been a source for Atlantic story. Trump said that Kelly was “totally exhausted” and “wasn’t able function” in the last number of months during his tenure in the ‘Oval office.’
