Donald Trump Blames China For False Information On Covid-19!

Over 1.9 Million people infected. 126,000 people dead. A growing rate of infection. The Covid-19 pandemic seems to be getting worse each day. The world has completely stopped with regular life. There seems to be no end to this problem.

Covid-19 In USA Under Donald Trump

The virus is affecting the United States the worst. It has over 600,000 cases and the number is rising rapidly. The state of New York alone has 200,000 cases. However, news outlets are reporting that the efforts from the US are severely lacking. Given the seriousness of the situation, everyone expected strict measures. Donald Trump (President), though, has failed to respond appropriately.

Donald Trump Blames China for Covid-19

At this point, people are waiting for some updates from the US government. Trump, however, continues to fail to impress. Instead, he is focussing on his reelection strategy for 2020. That strategy, it seems, is to blame China for everything related to Covid-19.

It is true that the virus originated in China. But to blame them for the spread of the virus in the USA is inherently problematic. Countries such as South Korea responded quickly. Testing was done on a large scale to check the spread of the virus. India imposed the world’s largest lockdown to slow down the rate of infection.

Donald Trump, however, is pointing to the false information spread by China. He claims that if China had not spread false information about the virus, it would not have spread in the first place. Political analysts are highlighting this as part of Trump’s reelection bid.

Covid-19 Blame Extended To The WHO

The United States is also halting its funding to the World Health Organization. According to Trump, the WHO supported China’s claims and put the US in danger because of it. This is concerning because the US is the largest contributor to the WHO. The WHO needs all the funding it has to fund attempts to find a Covid-19 vaccine.

Trump’s reaction to the situation is typical. The US is the epicentre of the virus. Yet, the country is lacking in all facets of tackling the spread. Most states don’t have enough medical equipment. Trump is forcing them to bid against each for equipment.

Many doctors are running blind with respect to how to cure the disease. States are falling short of other essential materials. But Trump refuses to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. According to him, the virus is a “hoax” and will miraculously disappear. People are dying and Trump and his administration are using it to build an election campaign. This only goes further to highlight the failures of one of the worst US presidents in history.

If appropriate steps aren’t taken soon, the US is looking at its permanent downfall as a country. Sadly, with Trump, they might need a miracle to help them after all.
