Dan Povenmire Career
Growing up in Mobile, Alabama, Povenmire studied painting and delighted in spending his summers making motion pictures in the great outdoors. In order to pursue a career in film, Povenmire initially enrolled at the University of South Alabama but later transferred to the University of Southern California.
Povenmire has worked in the animation business for a very long time. He has made appearances in several animated television series, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Hey Arnold!, The Simpsons, and Rocko’s Modern Life.
Along with Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, Povenmire co-created the Disney animated series Milo Murphy’s Law and Phineas and Ferb, in which he played Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Povenmire announced in October 2020 that a brand-new Disney Channel sitcom titled Hamster & Gretel would premiere in 2022.
