Daniel Abrams was born in Manhattan. He is of Jewish descent, the son of Efrat and well-known constitutional law expert Floyd Abrams. Floyd Abrams is an American lawyer at Cahill Gordon and Reindel. He argues matters before the US Supreme Court thirteen times and is an expert in constitutional law.
In the CIA leak grand jury investigation, Abrams represented Standard & Poor’s, Lorillard Tobacco Company, Judith Miller, and The New York Times in the Pentagon Papers case of 1972. He also acted as Citizens United’s representative in the 2010 Supreme Court case.

On May 20, 1966, Abrams was born in Manhattan, New York City. He is Floyd and Efrat Abrams’ son. His father is a constitutional law scholar. In 1984, he graduated from Riverdale Country School. After that, he enrolled in Duke University, where he graduated in 1988 with a B.A. in political science.
