Cyberpunk 2077: Media Impressions From Hands-On Preview Are Glowing

Cyberpunk 2077 debuted its first Night City Wire episode recently. We saw a trailer, heard some neat insights about the game from the developers and got a glimpse at Braindance. However, that’s not all that we got. Multiple media outlets also managed to get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077 itself for a few hours.

Many Media Outlets Got Their Hands On Cyberpunk 2077

Once Night City Wire wrapped up, they all posted their impressions of this preview. What did they think? Everyone seems to be loving what they played. Not many games get this level of universal acclaim, but this one seems to be getting it.

Cyberpunk 2077’s Media Preview Is Adding To The Hype

Unfortunately, they weren’t allowed to record their own Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. It doesn’t matter, though, we’ll take what we can get. “I came out of my demo time blown away by the scope of what CD Projekt Red is attempting with the game, and similarly impressed by the depth of its RPG systems. This is a rich and nuanced game well worth the long wait we’ve had to play it,” wrote Game Informer’s Matt Miller.

Other people who played this game also had similar words of praise. The Verge’s Nick Statt was also blown away with what he played. “It’s a slick action title, a deep and meaty narrative RPG with consequential decision-making, and a wildly immersive simulation of daily urban life in the far future all rolled into one,” he wrote.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is, Sadly, A Long Way Away

While I’d love to get my hand on this game myself, I’ll stick to hearing other people rave about it. Should be enough to tide me over as the Cyberpunk 2077 release draws near.

As of right now, the Cyberpunk 2077 release date is November 19, 2020. CD Projekt Red may decide to delay the game again, though. If they don’t, that’s when it will come out on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
