The final episode of “Chicago PD” season 10 was really exciting. It had lots of action and a big moment where a character, Adam Ruzek, got badly hurt and ended up in the hospital. This left fans eager to see what happens next in season 11, but there have been delays due to strikes by writers and actors, making fans wait even longer.
NBC hasn’t said much about the new season yet, but some of the actors have shared a few interesting things. Plus, there’s good news about when the show might come back. We’re going to give you all the updates and details about what’s coming up in “Chicago PD” season 11!
Chicago Pd Season 11 Release Date
Season 11 of Chicago P.D. has not yet been given a premiere date as of this writing. Assuming production can resume as planned in late November, Season 11 of the show will contain 13 episodes. As soon as we have more information on a debut date, we’ll post it here.

Chicago Pd Season 11 Plot Details
Nothing has been revealed about what Season 11 of Chicago P.D. will entail for viewers. We have faith that Chicago’s police will keep up their efforts to reduce crime and bring those responsible to justice. Also, the budding romance between Marina Squerciati’s Kim Burgess and Patrick John Flueger’s Adam Ruzek will likely continue to develop.
We will also see how Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and the rest of the precinct are coping with their apparent divorce now that Senior Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) has left the show.
Chicago P.D. Season 11 Expected Cast
While NBC has not yet released an official cast list for Season 11, we anticipate that the majority of Chicago PD’s main players will return. Key series regulars who are likely to return for Season 11 are listed below.
- Amy Morton as Trudy Platt
- Jason Beghe as Hank Voight
- LaRoyce Hawkins as Kevin Atwater
- Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess
- Patrick John Flueger as Adam Ruzek
- Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Dante Torres
Unfortunately, not everyone who has been familiar to you will remain. Variety reports that Chicago PD’s Tracy Spiridakos, who plays Hailey Upton, will leave the show during Season 11. This is the second major character to leave the show in as many years, after Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer).
Chicago P.D. Season 11 Trailer
Unfortunately, there is no Chicago PD season 11 trailer yet, and it seems unlikely that one will be released any time soon. Since production on the new season has not yet begun and the show’s comeback is uncertain as a result of the actors’ strike, we may not get a trailer for the season for a while.
In the event that a season trailer or promotional video is released, we will update this article to incorporate it.
