Miller was given a life sentence in prison, so he won’t be able to get out unless he can prove that he wasn’t responsible for the crimes against him. The date of his release is not known until then. But in 2018, two important witnesses who had testified against him changed their minds. This caused a lot of controversies.

Both of them say that the police forced them to testify against Miller. The first person to come forward was Kenneth Jordan, who said in a statement, “I know that the person I saw shoot the gun was not Corey Miller.”

“I am sure that Corey Miller did not shoot Steve Thomas,” said the second witness, Darnell Jordan. ”

The rapper says he is not guilty, and he, his brothers, and his nephew have all asked for a new trial more than once.

Kim Kardashian, an American socialite who finished her first year of law school at the beginning of 2020, is trying to help Miller get out of jail and “find the truth behind this tragedy.”

Kim Kardashian, who completed her first year of law school at the beginning of 2020, has stepped in to see if she can support Miller’s release and “find the truth behind this tragedy.”

After two witnesses from the incident night declined to testify, new motives emerged in 2018. According to Kenneth Jordan’s statement, the first witness claimed that he was under pressure from the police to identify C-Murder as the assailant. Kenneth continued, “I know the individual who shot the weapon was not Corey Miller.”

Security guard “Darnell Jordan” claims police “tricked” him into identifying C-Murder as the shooter on the night of the incident. He claimed that until he agreed to testify against the rapper in his initial 2003 trial, officials had detained and imprisoned him as a drug witness.

In a statement, he stated, “I am confident that Corey Miller did not shoot Steve Thomas.”  Singer Monica, with whom Miller was dating at the time of his arrest, as well as REFORM Alliance participants Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, were among the collaborators that Kardashian West announced. This group’s goal is to “dramatically reduce the number of people who are imprisoned unjustly.”
