It’s unusual for a new sports anime to be hyped for months before it debuts. Blue Lock, on the other hand, isn’t just any sports anime. Blue Lock Episode 1 will be released in October 2022!
The series will be released on October 8th, 2022, according to Blue Lock’s official Twitter account and website. Studio Eight Bit, best known for their work on The Fruit of Grasaia and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, has animated the upcoming series. In Japan, the series will air on local networks such as TV Asahi, while international fans can watch it on Crunchyroll.
Aside from the trailer, a new key visual for Blue Lock has been released, featuring all of the series’ major characters, including Asahi Naruhaya, Rensuke Kunigami, Hibiki Okawa, Reo Mikage, and others. Shugo Nakamura will perform the ending theme song, “Winner,” while UNISON SQUARE GARDEN will perform the opening theme song, “Chaos ga Kiwamaru.”
Blue Lock will be released in Japan on October 9th at 1:30 AM, which translates to the following times:

Blue Lock Synopsis
Blue Lock is a sports manga series written and illustrated by Muneyuki Kaneshiro. The series is about a teenager named Isagi Yoichi who aspires to be the best striker on the Japanese national team.
One day, a secret football project known as “Blue Lock” invites Isagi and 299 other strikers from all over Japan to vote on the best striker in the world. To realize his dream of becoming a member of Japan’s World Cup football team, Isagi works with these inexperienced strikers to reach the pinnacle of his favorite sport.
