When Meech was a high school student in Detroit, he and his brother Terry Lee Flenory, often known as “Southwest T,” got their start selling $50 packages of cocaine. They established The Black Mafia Family in the late 1980s, and at its height, it had bases in Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles, California, and distributed cocaine all over the country.

Southwest T was allegedly in charge of the organization’s Los Angeles branch, while Big Meech oversaw operations in Atlanta. During the height of their operations, the brothers were transporting 2,500 kg of cocaine into and out of Atlanta each month.

Numerous media outlets claimed that Ferguson had filed for divorce from her husband after hearing about his most recent arrest; however, based on court documents obtained by The Daily Mail, which detailed the status of multiple high-profile cases, there is currently no evidence to support this claim.

Furthermore, throughout the previous few years, there hasn’t been any reliable information indicating that Big Meech’s wife passed dead while they were apart. This makes sense when you take into account how often her husband has seen her since he began his prison term in 2011 at the Georgia State Prison in Reidsville.

Big Meech Biography

Big Meech was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 21, 1968, and goes by Demetrius Flenory in real life. He was raised in a low-income household with his sister and brother Terry. Because of their difficult living circumstances, he never attended college and he and his brother Terry began distributing d*ugs to pay for their costs.

Back in high school, Big Meech and his brother would sell $50 worth of cocaine on the streets of Detroit. He interviewed with Don Diva magazine, one of the top publications, while incarcerated.

Big Meech Career

In 1994, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry Flenory founded the Blood Money Family (BMF), an Atlanta, Georgia-based street gang and criminal organization.

The group rose to notoriety as a result of claims that they were involved in a multimillion-dollar illegal d*ug trafficking operation, were linked to violent crimes like murder, and flaunted their wealth by acquiring expensive jewellery, fancy cars, and expansive homes.

Flenory’s group was the subject of a two-year investigation, which culminated in his arrest in April 2008 and his subsequent six-year prison sentence for his crimes. Meech announced his retirement from the hip-hop music industry in 2015, having sold nearly one million albums overall after releasing five albums on his own under the label BME Recordings. He briefly returned to the rap game in 2017 but decided to put his microphone down permanently to focus on his family.
