Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a liberal on the Supreme Court, died on Friday at the age 87 and the people are mourning her death all over the world.
Favour For Trump
This gives President Donald Trump a chance to appoint more conservative parties into the court. To top it off Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he would accept anyone that Trump chooses.
Her death can alter the balance of the court in a very high way which already has a 5-4 conservative majority.
But the opposite Presidental Candidate Joe Biden says that he will fight against Mitch’s decision.
So Biden said that choosing the replacement of RBG should be left on the hand of whoever is going to win the election which seems reasonable.
“There is no doubt – let me be clear – that the voters should pick the president, and the president should pick the justice for the Senate to consider,”
He further went to say how Ruth stood up for all of us and how she was consistent and reliable and a voice for freedom of opportunity for everyone. Therefore he urges us to take the right decision.
Trump on September 9th revealed the potential candidates he chose for the Supreme Court while Biden refused to it but did say that he will appoint a Black woman whose name is not known yet.
