Quarterback Joe Burrow is the one quick shoulder to blame after the Cincinnati Bengals lost in his rookie debut. Burrow gives himself a “D” despite being the one playing away from scoring the winning game.
The last few seconds of a 16-13 loss to L.A. charges on Sunday night in the Paul Brown Stadium. The 2020 top overall draft pick up refused to settle down for any of then excuses after a late penalty and a missed a goal preventing Burrow from the beginning in the First Week of Rookie.
Burrow says, ” At the end of the day, I made too many mistakes for us to win the game, and we didn’t make enough plays. ” It is a harsh critique for the recent Heisman winner who was thrown away from leading Bengals for a comeback win. The game picked up nearly in the Fourth Quarter.

On the authority following the turnover, Burrow was 8-of-11 passing for 70 yards and had an ability go-ahead touchdown under the guidance by a pass interference penalty on A.J. Green within less than 10 seconds. Kicker Randy Bullock missed a 31-yard field goal that would have sent the game to overtime.
The rookie rued another accidentally misses when he overthrew Green, it is wide-open in the last zone.
“I can’t miss that one to A.J.,” Burrow says. “A high-schooler can make that throw.”But while the Bengals quarterback is serious of his performance, others talked about Burrow’s debut.
Green says that the rookie is “unbelievable,” especially at the end, as Burrow led the offensive way to the Chargers’ 3-yard line in the last minutes despite not any timeouts at his disposal.
