Apollo 11 And RuPaul’s Drag Race Gets Off To A Big Win – Here’s All You Need Yo Know!

The legendary award nights already trending on social media like crazy.  Yes, I am talking about Emmy’s Awards! I mean the Apollo 11 and RuPaul’s drag race. You heard about it, right? If not. Then read below. The Apollo 11 and RuPaul’s drag race is off to get the biggest stars ever. Like literally ever.

However the event always typically used to take place over two nights, the weekend before the Primetime Emmy Awards telecast. But this year as everything else is changing, be it the circumstances or the surroundings the organisation changed this too. This year’s event and the award ceremony was divided into five separate nights.

Furthermore, the host for all the amazing nights was Nicole Byer and my god did he nailed the sessions. Though the hosting segments were pre-taped due to the coronavirus pandemic and it’s safety precautions and conductions.

Anyways coming back to the awards, Apollo 11 was a documentary made by CNN. It was a movie based on the historic 1969 mission to the moon. And needless to say, it took 3 awards home early into the night. And we know it deserves it. Nothing more, nothing less. Apollo 11 won Outstanding Picture Editing For A Nonfiction Program, beating out Netflix’s The Factory and Tiger King, HBO’s McMillions, ESPN’s The Last Dance and Apple TV Plus’ Beastie Boys Story.

Then comes the RuPaul’s drag race. That was an amazing thing that happened. Quite literally. RuPaul’s Drag Race beat out Fox’s LEGO Masters, Netflix’s Queer Eye, CBS’ Survivor and Bravo’s Top Chef for the editing award.
