The filming is beginning in London as the conditions have improved there. The defamation case against Heard was filed in 2019 over her publication in the Washington Post.

The trials were to begin from January 11 to 28th, 2021.

Depp has requested the Judge to reschedule the trial as it clashes with the filming the “Fantastic Beasts 3.”

Amber Heard, 34 lashes back on Depp saying that he is making “no effort whatsoever” to honour the court and is treating the judge as “subservient.”

She also claimed that her “Aquaman 2” filming would begin from February hence will be a “slippery slope” for her.

Adam Waldman, Depp’s lawyer has conducted:  “a daily campaign to destroy her reputation and career through social media, the internet and the press” as claimed by Amber Heard lawyer.

Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard for defamation in Virginia. He submitted a paper last week requesting the Judge to reschedule the trial over an “irreconcilable conflict.”

What has Amber Heard’s lawyer to say?

Amber Heard has opposed the request as her Lawyer wrote:  “Although Mr Depp had been contacted in late June or July with the proposed filming dates, he did not alert them to the trial dates.”

“Mr Depp decided that, rather than speak with his employer to work his film commitments around his trial, he asks this court to subserviently reschedule around his employment and the entire film schedule and production.”

The papers have confirmed that Amber is still shooting for “Aquaman 2.”
During the bitter face off at London’s High Court, a Judge heard Johnny Depp texting his assistant: “I want her replaced on that WB (Warner Bros) film.”

Johnny has not denied the claim and said:  “I was feeling quite bitter. Depp said that he did  want “her replaced on the Aquaman sequel.”

“I had been characterised globally as a ‘wife beater’. I went from Cinderella to Quasimodo in 0.6 seconds and I was without a voice at that point.”
