Johnny Depp Amber Heard case:
Amber Heard, 34, appears as the queen of controversies. Johnny Depp filed libel trial, against News Group Newspapers. The NGN group called Depp a “wife beater” and stood firm in its allegations. The trial, revealed immensely disturbing facts about Amber and Johnny’s marriage. Amber has placed her faith in the British justice and stands by her grounds. The judgement still awaits and will not be delivered until late September. The chief Justice of the case is Mr Justice Nicol. Johnny Depp sure to £350,000 from the NGN trial, after three weeks of hearing.
Amber Heard, had written an article on being a domestic violence survivor, in the Washington post. Depp has sued Heard for $50 million for defamation. The hearings and proceedings of this case is underway right after, in January. Johnny Depp has not specified the names of his lawyer. The witnesses for this case shall be the same on behalf of both Heard and Depp. The evidences from the libel case, will also play a major part.
Heard faced severe backlash after the case. From being called a “compulsive liar” by David Sherborn, to turning off her IG comments, Heard has been called out severely.
Why was Amber Heard slammed for her clothing?
Recently, Heard seems to prepare herself for the next set of trials to follow. She is vacationing and visiting cultural heritages to freshen up her mind. Presently she is in Istanbul.
But it seems controversies follow her wherever she leads. Amber Heard posted a picture wearing a red headscarf, which is also called ‘Hijab’. She wore it will a loose fitted top, with no bra underneath. Captioning the picture, “Spent the day wandering around the magic of Istanbul’s mosques and couldn’t be more in love with this magical city…..”, she really seemed mesmerized by the rich culture.
A number of her viewers severely criticized her. According to them, the dress she wore was completely inappropriate. Hijab is an Arabic word that means partition or barrier. In the Islamic culture it concerns both men’s and women’s “gaze, gait, garment and genitalia.” It symbolizes modesty and privacy from the unknown. Viewers call Amber’s draping of the Hijab as disrespectful, as she has only used it as a fashion accessory rather than a cultural symbol.
The Severe Criticism:
She was slammed all across Twitter. One person wrote, “Amber Heard has no respect for religion or race as we’ve seen many times. Posted while touring a mosque. Using a Hijab as a fashion accessory. Hair and neck showing and braless. She posted this before than took it down immediately then reposted it.”
Another brought down angrily, “Amber Heard is such a fake. She’s trying too hard.”
“Amber Heard really did enter a mosque in Istanbul with her nipples on show, didn’t she? That disrespect,” a third wrote furiously.
Following the publishing of a magazine that pondered over the negative backlash, Heard finally replied infuriated. She wrote, “Nope, apparently whoever paid 4 this ti be “written” wasn’t paid enough. I’ll make it easier. Mosques are real places. So are museums and churches. So are headscarfs (where they are sometimes required n order to visit). Mystery solved!
Amber Heard’s reply:
Well, though Heard still continues her vacation trip. Visiting somber spice markets and other heritages in Istanbul, the negativity still lurks. Sharing her pictures surrounded by the blues, wearing blue.
