Susan Lavelle, the actor’s ex-wife, announced the news on Facebook. Her memorial was written early on Tuesday morning. “It is with deep, profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex-husband, amazing actor, and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today. We are completely devastated especially our daughter Haley. His wife, Becky was by his side,” she wrote.

Lavelle, her daughter, and her husband Becky, who had been with Graham for about 25 years, were “totally crushed” by his untimely death. Later, Becky told The Hollywood Reporter that Graham had died of a cardiac arrest in a Spokane, Washington, hospital.
Lavelle claims that she met Graham for the first time when she was “only 20 years old.” At the time, Fox (1989–1990) claimed that “he was one half of the star duo on the TV series Alien Nation.” In the episode, he costarred alongside Eric Pierpoint as futuristic police officers who combat crime.

Lavelle noted that although Graham had “many more credits” in his career, “he had already been in films like All the Right Moves with Tom Cruise,” about his role as Tom Cruise’s brother in the 1983 movie.
She continued, calling him “funny” and possessing a “sarcastic sense of humor,” but he was also kind, a devout Christian, and immensely proud of his daughter Haylee. “Please pray for our daughter as she goes through this process known as mourning,” Lavelle said, noting that she hadn’t expected this. Gar, soar into the skies!”
Other highlights of Graham’s career include his multi-year role as Vulcan Ambassador Soval on Star Trek: Enterprise from 2001 to 2005, and his roles in popular television shows including The Dukes of Hazzard and Starsky & Hutch.
