Akira Toriyama, a highly important and internationally successful manga author, passed away on March 1, 2024. He was 68. A statement from Toriyama’s production business Bird Studio stated that he passed away on March 1 due to a blood clot in his brain. It stated that just his family and a few other relatives had attended the funeral service.
